All About Storage

Posted by Ameley Kwei-Armah on

Let's face it, we buy so much nail goods and hardly have anywhere to store it! Those of us working out of our homes don't have a dedicated separate storage room, so we have to store all goods in our nail rooms/nail spaces. However, this can quickly clutter our space and become an eyesore.

We have decided to pull together some great storage options that will allow you to not only maximise your space but store all your nail goodies!

We have no affiliate links with any the items listed in this blog. They are simply items we use ourselves or have been recommended to us by others.

First up is this amazing 15 drawer plastic storage drawer set on wheels! This retails on Amazon for £84.99 and comes in Black, White or Pink. You can opt for the cheaper 10 drawer option for £44.99.

For those of you that have the popular Alex Drawers by Ikea this spice rack hack is amazing! Ikea's  Variera Insert for spice jars works surprisingly well to store pots of glitter and all for £3 a pop! 3 racks of these fit perfectly in the top two Alex Drawers. We personally placed non-slip sheets underneath these as they do tend to move a little.

If you can screw storage onto your walls it will maximise your space so much! Storing polish can often be a pain if you don't have adequate storage solutions. Fear not! eBay saves the day with this Nail Polish Wall Rack for only £12.99. It's 5 tiers and you can also opt for the wider one for £22.99 or all three for £37.99.

These selves are great for storing your pots of acrylics. They used to be sold at Ikea for a much cheaper price but have since been discontinued :(. The best alternative we have been able to find is this Songmics Wall Shelf Set of 2 from Amazon for £32.99. If you know where they can be found cheaper let us know down in the comments!
Loads of techs are using these cute storage boxes to store items such as lint free wipes, gloves, masks and all sorts! These do seem to work best with Alex Drawers but can probably work with any deep set of drawers. We've found these Studio Baskets for just £1.20 each and available in 5 different colours from Plastic Box Shop.
Ikea strikes again with the Lennart White Drawer Set for only £12! This drawer set actually comes in handy. It used to store all our nail goods but now we just use it to store towels. Nevertheless, you can use these drawers for almost anything. Although, we would avoid placing anything too heavy on them as they are made from thin wire.
Last but not least, is this really cute Blush 3 Tier Storage Trolley from Homebase for £25! You can use this trolley set to store taller products, equipment and holds up to 8kg per tray. It's available in Blush and Grey.
That's all for now, if you know of any cheaper, better or different storage solutions let us know in the comments below.
